If Thy Right Hand Offend Thee, Cut It Off? Pluck Out Your Eye?

One day I was reading the Lord Jesus Christ’s words "And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell." Matthew 5:29-30.

I started to think about all the sinful things that my eyes have looked upon in my past, and if I were to "pluck them out". I started to think about all the sinful things that I have used my hands for in my past, and if I were to "cut them off". I started to think about all the ways (through thought or action) that the various parts of my physical body have been used in sin in my past.

My brain - sinful thoughts.
My feet - brought me to sinful places.
My hands - touching, holding, creating sinful things.
My mouth - speaking wickedness.
This list just kept getting bigger and bigger, and in imagining myself removing all of these parts of my body from me, I realized that there wouldn’t be much left.

That is when the revelation of truth was given to me. I was able to understand, that just like in the movie "the Passion of the Christ", truly, every single place on Jesus Christ’s body was beaten, torn, ripped and injured somehow. You see, Jesus Christ "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye [Christians] were healed." 1 Peter 2:24. Jesus Christ paid for our sins. Not simply in the spiritual realm, but in the physical as well. Just as the scripture says, He took on our sins into his own Holy body. This means that for example, every sin committed with anyones right hand, throughout history, from the beginning until the end, was placed into Christ’s right hand, as if He had committed those sins (even though He was without sin), in order to pay the penalty for it.

He took the nails into the hands and feet, as punishment.
Every inch of his holy body was beaten, as punishment.
His Holy flesh was torn and ripped right off of him, as punishment.
His heart was speared out with a lance, as punishment.
He knew every sinful thought throughout history, and paid for it. He became as the King of sinners, and wore the crown of thorns which pierced through his head into his skull with agonizing pain and torment.
He was put to death.

His Holy, sinless flesh was struck with the whip, hit with the fist, driven through with the nails, and when it was struck, it flew off of Him, as the sin, and payment for sin was whipped, punched, struck and driven onto His body in place of it. I truly believe that the sinless flesh that was cast off of Him, and the Holy sinless blood He shed, was supernaturally collected, and this is what is given to us when Christians take communion. Alleluia!

Jesus Christ was trying to get us to realize a few things. He wanted us to realize that the act of cutting off our own hands would be nothing compared to the eternal (forever) torment of being condemned to hell. He also wanted us to realize that we need him to pay the price of punishment, torment and death for us. Jesus Christ is not simply a religious choice, he is a spiritual requirement...

We must understand, though He paid the price for all sin, we as individuals must accept this act, and receive Salvation through Jesus Christ, and make that exchange with Him, with God. Otherwise, if we do not repent of our sins, make this exchange with Jesus, become saved Christians, and start living forever changed lives... we will pay for our own sins, and according to God, that means Death, Hell and Damnation. On top of that, we will be condemned above and beyond our own sins, with the penalty for allowing an innocent man (Jesus Christ) to pay the death penalty for our sins.
