What Are Seducing Spirits? (1 Timothy 4:1-2)

The word "seduce" is defined as: "to lead astray, as from duty, rectitude, or the like; corrupt".

Seducing Spirits are literally spirits that are working for satan, with two primary goals:
+ keeping people from becoming Christians
+ deceiving Christians into following lies, wickedness or losing their salvation.

The Bible tells us: "...that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy..." (1 Timothy 4:1-2).

A seducing spirit may function on any level, and through any content...
- religion
- sexuality
- drugs
- science
- music
- movies
- magazines
- books
- internet
- preachers within a church
- friends
- family
- you name it...
