The Protestant Christians VS. The Catholic Christians. Yes it is very true that there are many, many false doctrines of man, and even what could be considered blasphemy going on within the "Catholic" majority. It's one thing to preach and teach against these doctrines, but many protestants go beyond this. They mock Catholics with hatred. They can't stand them in the least, and refuse to accept that some of them are saved Christians.
The point of this article is not to go over the history of the Catholics VS. the Protestants, but rather to point out some truth. There are saved and unsaved people who call themselves Catholic Christian. Likewise there are saved and unsaved people who call themselves Protestant Christian. And the interesting part of the matter: there are unsaved Catholics who are living their life (their choices, ways, thoughts, actions) in a manner that is closer to God, and more righteous than a large percentage of the people who call themselves Protestant Christians. Throughout history, some of the greatest of all Saints of Jesus Christ have defined themselves as "Catholics". A Catholic person's dedication to Jesus in thought and action is at times very inspiring. Much of their desire to stay strict and conservative is a breath of fresh air compared to the modern warehouses that are a tough stretch to call a protestant "church", consisting of many people who do not even have enough respect of God to act and appear respectable. Pool tables, wireless internet, ripped jeans, skate parks, rock bands and a "come as you are" attitude is not progressing Christianity, instead it's self-destructing souls and destroying the respect and admiration people used to have when they knew they were entering a house of God. If someone is truly saved, they will not accept false doctrines. The Spirit of truth will deliver them from it. But I think it's safe to say that there will be a lot of shocked Catholics to find out that Heaven is full of Protestants, as well as Protestants who will be shocked that Heaven is full of Catholics. Should we argue about who is better, the Baptists, Methodists or the Non-Denominational? Should we bring up the fact that there are Messianic Jews? THE FACT IS, it's not about what specific Christian title someone bears. No. Rather, it's about how they are living their life, and whether or not it's following God's truth, laws and ways. It's about whether or not they have made the sin exchange with Jesus Christ on the cross, and received salvation. It's about whether or not Jesus Christ chose to baptize them in the Holy Ghost. Know the truth: just because someone knows Jesus Christ is God does not mean that they are saved or baptized in the Holy Ghost. Why not? Because the recognition of who God is does not grant salvation or baptism in the Holy Ghost. Even the devil and his evil workers know who God is, and they are not saved, nor do they have the Holy Ghost. We must first choose to trust God's word (found in the Bible), have faith without that perfect confirmation (the Holy Ghost) upon our lives, trusting like a child would trust what his father tells him, without question. Then, if we do what must be done, Jesus Christ will make the sin exchange with us (granting us salvation) and baptize us in His Holy Ghost. Once that happens, a Christian is given solid, perfect evidence of the existence and reality of God / Jesus Christ, Heaven and their Salvation. Amen! Jesus says: "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." (John 3:36). "He that believeth [step 1] and is baptized [step 2] shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." (Mark 16:16). That is the true religion. Amen.
