The Punishment Poem

He desperately climbs up the jagged mountain called life.
He knows God is up there,
at the top of the mountain.
The path is so steep that he must remain on his guard at all times.
Daily he travails,
trying to hold onto the progress he's made,
while others to his left and his right simply decide it would be easier to run downhill,
fast and fun!
Clinging to the rock,
he turns around and looks upon the evil world.
Sin and wickedness pouring down the walls of almost every home,
he cries out unto the Lord:
"Give me strength to overcome!
Persecution,
victimization,
torment comes at me,
even in revenge of doing what is right."
Fed up he raises his Bible to the sky and screams out to the world,
reminding them of what they will reap if they do not change!
"REPENT!
REPENT!
The doors are closing,
the time is running out.
Repent of you sins,
turn to Jesus Christ,
receive salvation,
become a Bible Christian and stop doing what is wrong!"
What’s this?
He hears the mocking laugh of the wicked,
who refuse the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
They take what he has warned them,
trample it like pigs,
and turn back with hatred and vengeance.
"PROTECT ME LORD,
FOR THY ENEMIES ARE GREAT!
Those who are an enemy of Jesus are an enemy of me." he ponders! 
He is reminded of Jesus' teaching that because He saved him from the world,
everyone and everything that consists of the world hates him.
They laugh in his face!
Every truth of God he gave is accounted as evil,
yet their wicked works of lust,
fornications,
adultery,
greed,
hatred are counted as valuable good.
A powerful frustration manifests in a loud scream:
"FINE!
IF THEY WANT TO BURN IN HELL,
LET THEM BURN IN HELL!
IF THEY WAN'T TO BE DAMNED TO HELL,
LET THEM BE DAMNED TO HELL!
THEY MAKE THE CHOICE!"
More laughing!
More mocking of the truth!
"PUNISHMENT WILL COME" he screams,
but they have all turned a deaf ear.
They are all out of control oh Lord,
they are all out of control.
