Christian Prayer For Forgiveness

Dear Jesus Christ,
You alone are my Lord!
You alone are my Savior!
You alone,
I worship and serve!
I come to You today,
asking for forgiveness.
I have sinned again,
and Im full of guilt.
Some sins I have committed by mistake,
others I have willfully chosen.
For those especially,
I beg Your forgiveness!
Jesus,
please search my heart,
and see how much I long to be a good Christian,
who does what is right!
Please take into account how hard it is to live here in these last days of tribulation!
Please take these sins I bring to You,
and every sin I have ever committed,
and let them be upon You on the cross of salvation.
Please oh Lord Jesus,
deliver me from punishment.
Once again I ask,
be the punishment for me,
on that cross,
2,000+ years ago.
Without this,
I would have nothing but hell to pay,
but through You Jesus,
Son of God,
I am forgiven!
I choose to believe the truth,
that You understand it all.
In according to Your word,
I confess my sins to You,
and ask that they be forgiven me.
Amen!
