The Thinking Trap

Dear Jesus,
in this world,
there are a tons of false depictions about you.
Sometimes,
when I hear of them,
they harass me with torment,
attacking my very faith.
I find myself thinking them through,
trying to use my own thoughts to figure out and over come them.
It doesn't work good enough.
I choose to submit myself to the truth,
that there is only one accurate depiction of you Jesus,
and that is in the Gospels of the Holy Bible!
I renounce any depiction that is in contrary to this truth.
You alone are the way, the truth and the life, as you have proclaimed.
Therefore,
from now on,
help me not to get caught up in the mental, thought, thinking trap that leads me into temptation,
and attacks my faith.
I don’t need to go there,
I just need to have faith that you are who you say you are.
Thank you that I can trust you.
Please forgive me for not being stronger.
