Will Our Enemies Receive Their Punishment?

Lord Jesus,
how long will the spiritual war continue on?
When will the time come when You come back to us,
and rescue us from sin and wickedness?
Please be honest to your word.
I TRUST you to be honest to your word.
"The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished" 2 Peter 2:9.
Lord,
I want the evildoers to be punished,
yet I realize that I have been an evildoer in my life.
I have been unjust,
and I cannot bear the thought of you punishing me for it.
Thank YOU for the cross of Jesus Christ.
Thank you for salvation!
Thank you for the forgiveness of sins.
Help me to realize that you will forgive those who come to you and change,
and punish those who do not.
The time will come.
