Fear Has Tried To Come My Way Often

Dear Lord,
fear has tried to come my way often.
It tries to lie to me and say scary things.
Often it’s an enemy trying to mess with me,
but there are also times when it comes from my own emotions.
Rebuke all fears on my behalf.
Help me to heal from wounds and traumas of my childhood.
Help me to heal from ways that I was victimized by sin.
Help me to forgive those who have hurt me.
And help me to be forgiven as well,
for I ask for your forgiveness.
I love you with all of my heart,
and ask for your protection from fears.
I pray your holy blood be upon me,
so that I shall fear nothing.
During the old testament Passover,
you kept those who used the blood of a lamb safe.
Though they may have been afraid,
they were comforted by faith.
They trusted that the death would not enter in.
Now in the new testament,
you gave your Holy Blood.
I pray for your blood upon me,
and I trust that death will not enter in,
for you have said: "Because I live, ye shall live also." (John 14:19)
