// What Is Blasphemy Against The Holy Spirit Ghost?* 4K+ ↓↓   ↓

When the original Church of Jesus Christ was formed, everyone had the Holy Ghost. Peter, John, Matthew, Mark, James, Paul, Mary and all the other Christians embraced the Holy Ghost and were embraced by the Holy Ghost. When they would go into a town to preach the Gospel to the unsaved, those who embraced the truth and received it, then took part in the three most vitally important functions that exist in life: Repentance, Conversion and Baptism. The Baptism in the Holy Ghost. They first became Christians, then they received the Holy Ghost from Heaven and our Lord Jesus. This was how things went everywhere the Lord was revealed. Moving the time line ahead some 2,000 years later; there is now known a difference between "Christians", and "Holy Ghost Filled Christians". In fact, there is not only known a difference, but there is also a war between the two.

If you were to condense all Christian denominations together and examined their religious services, you would find two very different experiences. Let’s call them Group A & Group B.

In Group A: people congregate together and sign hymns, worship, pray standardized prayers, hear a sermon, sing some more. This is most common, probably in some 80+ percent of all Christian churches.

In Group B: people congregate together and sing hymns, worship and then something different happens. People start laying back or even down on the floor. They get really, really happy! People who are not trained pastors start getting led to say powerful prayers for people they don’t even know. Miracles start happening, people start getting delivered and repent of their sins, and others suddenly become desperate to find God. Signs & Wonders! People leave with their lives completely changed. This type of service is rare.

To most "Christians", Group A is considered normal, standard, and the classic traditional Christian service. Group B is considered radical, strange and sometimes even considered evil. Many from Group A have spent their whole lives partaking in only the traditional, and have never experienced the radical (nor would they want to). There are many traditional preachers who believe that it is their duty to warn and protect their congregation, lest they become involved in Group B. Many pastors whose services are in the manner of Group B are often labeled by those in Group A as "false prophets", "magicians" and "anti-Christs". I listened to a preacher once who started off his teaching by talking about a service that he had attended, where people were falling on the floor, and to him, strange things were happening. He made it very clear that nowhere in the Bible is it documented that anyone ever falls backwards in the presence of God. If he were to read John 18:4-6, he would find out that he was wrong. Others probably believe that no one acts "abnormal" in the presence of God. However, in Acts 2, when the Holy Ghost came upon the Christians, others who saw their behavior accused them of being drunk. (Please understand that there is an unmeasurable difference between a drunk and someone who has the Holy Ghost upon them. They accused them of being drunk because they were so happy and were speaking in tongues, and most likely having difficulty "functioning". Let’s make this very clear: No Holy Ghost filled Christian will act or behave in wickedness, as drunks do!)

Christians read the book of Acts, and believe it. Yet, do they believe it to be possible today? Do they believe that they can experience it themselves?

Could it be that this type of attitude against Group B is actually endangering peoples souls?

In Matthew 12:22, Jesus Christ (by His Power; the Power of the Holy Ghost) rebuked satan and healed the afflicted. In Matthew 12:24, as opposed to recognizing that God did the work, the Pharisees claimed that Jesus rebuked satan with satan’s power.

Jesus responded: "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges. But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you. Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house. He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad. Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit." - Matthew 12:25-33.

Another words, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is claiming that God’s work; the work of the Holy Spirit (Healing, Delivering, Protecting) is work of the devil, an evil spirit. And blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is unforgivable. Let this be a warning!

It is the Holy Ghost from Jesus Christ that empowers us to overcome evil, and not be harmed by the power of satan. Read Luke 10:19. Therefore, is it because they do not have the Holy Ghost upon their lives, and therefore they have no power over the enemy, that so many people who are calling themselves "Christian", are yet living in sin? It's their own choices. The Holy Ghost will not come upon the life of someone who is living in sin; such as drunkards, fornicators (sex without marriage), liars, thiefs, etc...

We must recognize the FACT that Christians who live with the presence and power of the Holy Ghost upon their life are living as the original church of Jesus Christ lived. In fact, I wonder if it even possible to be a true Christian without the Holy Ghost anointing? After all, everyone in the original Church of Jesus Christ had it!

There are men and women alive today, who have the same type of Holy Ghost anointed Christian ministry that the original church of Jesus Christ had. Signs, wonders and miracles happen, and all credit and worship is given to Jesus Christ alone. However, they are labeled as anti-Christ magicians, even by many scared "Christians".

In Acts 5:14-16, we are taught about how Peter was so full of the anointing of the presence and power of the Holy Ghost, that the sick people were lined up in the street, in hopes that even Peter’s shadow might cast upon them, and they would be healed. Now that’s power! Guess what? If Jesus’ close friend and disciple Peter were alive today, conducting Christian church crusades in such a manner, there would be so called "Christians" all over who would be calling Peter an anti-Christ magician, because of the signs and wonders that followed him.

Am I saying that anyone with signs, wonders and "miracles" is a legitimate Christian anointed by the power of the Holy Ghost? ABSOLUTELY NOT! And this is where the fear (many Christians have) is generated:

THERE ARE such things as false preachers with deceptive works. Jesus warns: "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." - Matthew 24:24.

Thankfully, Jesus gave us the tip that we shall know them by their "fruits": "Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." - Matthew 7:17-20.

If you are a Christian, pray for Jesus to tell you the truth about what is going on somewhere. Look for the fruits! Who are the preachers involved? Do they preach Jesus Christ alone, or do they mix in other religions or religious principals (new age teachings)? Does the experience feel Godly? Does it make you feel real good or bad? Does it seem like it's right or wrong? Be very cautious about this. Be very cautious not to immediately discredit signs, wonders and miracles as work of the enemy! On the other hand, be very cautious not to accept evil works as works of God. Yes, it can be very complicated!

Do YOU want the presence and power of the Holy Ghost upon your life? I assure you, the Holy Ghost is the tangible, presence of God. The 3rd person in the Christian Trinity Godhead. "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word [JESUS], and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." - 1 John 5:7. First, you must recognize the many sins you have committed. You must acknowledge you are a sinner. You must choose to repent of your sins (quit sinning, and change your lifestyle for good) and become a Biblical Christian. Secondly, you must get baptized in the Holy Ghost. I'm not talking about having a preacher baptize you with water. I'm talking about Jesus Christ choosing to anoint you with His presence (Holy Ghost) and His power (Holy Ghost).

"I [John the Baptist] indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he [Jesus Christ] shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire" - Matthew 3:11.

The Holy Ghost wants you to seek after Him and seek after Jesus. The more you progress into Christianity, the more you will receive from the Lord Jesus.

"If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?" - Luke 11:13.

Guess what? You do not need a preacher, a church, or a congregation to receive the Holy Ghost. You can be sitting in your own home, alone, worshiping Jesus Christ, and it is possible to have a more powerful experience with the presence and power of God than you would at church; therefore let your home become your church!

We highly suggest that you go to your local Christian book seller and ask for a inexpensive workbook called: "The Steps To Freedom In Christ", written by Neil T. Anderson. This is a wealth of knowledge for every Christian, whether they are newly saved or well experienced. The "work" steps you are lead through, can change your entire life.

If you are a Christian, pray to Jesus. Tell Him that you want His Holy Ghost upon your life! Tell Him that you want signs, wonders and miracles to happen around you! Tell Him that you want to feel the very presence of God upon your body and life! Amen.
