This is an evil world and the enemy wants to destroy you. As we have preached before, willful participation in pornography (which depicts fornication, adultery, abominations, rape, etc) is the same as handing the keys to your soul and brain over to the devil (who is real and defined by the Holy Bible scriptures). Non-willful pornography attacks (victimization) from the internet is an all out assault against decency, innocence and Christianity. You need to be better prepared.

It's probably happened to everyone at some point. Without warning, some sexual filth shows up on your screen as you are browsing the net. Whether or not you are using a "filter", it can happen. If you are trying to do what is right and Holy, then here are some tips...

Prayer is the most important. Pray to Jesus Christ to keep evil from getting in through the computer no matter what you see, read or hear. This may sound ridiculous to some, but this is completely real, normal and appropriate action in the spiritual realm. If you end up being victimized by something filthy, you will have this extra protection already in place. *This only works for a saved Christian.

Have a clean heart and soul. Jesus Christ needs to know you do not want any involvement in sexual sin, and that you trust him to help you overcome and resist temptation.

Your hand is good anti-filth protection. When filth shows up, some people freak and move their mouse around trying to figure out how to "x" out the screen, "go back" or get out of it. Your peripheral vision is going to see the filth if you do not take additional action. As soon as it shows up on your screen, put your hand (your left / non-mouse using hand) up between your eyes and the screen, and block the filth. You will then be able to view specific parts of the page, such as the back button without seeing the filth for an additional amount of time.

+ Keep your audio turned down / off when browsing (keeps you from hearing sudden filth.
+ Change your internet browser settings to block popups (it helps, but doesn't always work)
+ Change your internet browser settings to dis-allow "redirects" (helps keep you from getting sent to filth without your choice)
+ Consider changing your internet browser settings to not allow images (especially if you intend to visit a website you are not sure of).
+ Consider changing your internet browser settings to dis-allow media player (video, animation, etc) content to show in websites.
+ Consider avoiding using Google / Yahoo / other image searches (any type of key word search, no matter how innocent and with filters can bring in filth)
+ Do not allow your children / teens to browse the internet without supervision.
+ Do not allow your children / teens friends or un-trustworthy relatives / friends to go online in your home.
+ When doing searches, don't just click on any search result listing. Take time to glance at the URL address the link is going to (usually shown under the sample text in search results).
+ Be careful typing in direct .com URL addresses. Some filth sits bank on mis-spelled words for major websites.
+ Consider avoiding home pages of major websites (which may be promoting inappropriate content).
+ Consider hitting the stop button after your text has loaded, but before the ads load (like on news websites, you may be able to get the text but stop the ads that may be promoting inappropriate content.

Pull the plug, and shut down! If you suddenly find yourself in a unstoppable pop-up filth attack assault against you, put your hand up over the screen, disconnect your network / internet cord from the back of the computer (which will halt the assault and any download attempt) and while you keep your hand over the screen, press and hold your shut-off button until the computer forcefully shuts down. This is the best resolution, because attempting to go through and "x" / close out a series of filthy pop-ups may take forever, resulting in your additional exposure. *Filthy programs may even try to continue downloading / installing.

In the even that you are exposed to filth....
+ Remove yourself from the situation somehow (advice above).
+ Once you are out of the situation, don't just ignore what happened, start praying.
+ Pray to Jesus Christ and ask that any evil and spirit of lust that tried to get in be rebuked away from you and your home.
+ Pray for help to get the images and memory out of your mind.
+ Do your best to stop thinking about what you saw, and resist any temptation to have physical responses to it.
+ Get more Christian about it if needed: Proclaim outloud (so the spiritual realm can hear) that you are a Christian, and you will not be overcome by temptation. Repeat the Lord's Prayer over and over until temptation is resisted. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." (James 4:7 King James Version).

When a person become a saved Christian, the want and desire to be a part of sexual sin is rooted out of them. God has declared his laws about sexuality, and marriage, and we are required to follow them. A saved Christian hates fornication, adultery, abominations, lusts of the flesh, wickedness, pornography. It's inevitable that a Christian battle with sinful thoughts, temptation, etc. Sometimes they do not overcome it as good as they should have. Sometimes they fight to get sinful thoughts out of their mind and don't succeed very well. Sometimes they have sinful thoughts and don't realize it until after the fact. Sometimes they have memories or traumas of sexual sin that keep coming up in their thoughts. That's where the grace of Jesus Christ comes in and helps.

But do not be deceived! Grace does not cover something like fornication (sex outside of marriage) or adultery. No saved Christian commits fornication and says: "OOPS! I wasn't going to do that anymore. Oh well, I have grace." WRONG! If someone is un-able to overcome; if someone is still willfully involving themselves in sexual sin, they are not a saved Christian, and they are not under grace, even if they thought they were.
