// #EXPLAIN: CHRISTIAN THINKING EVIL? When The Old Self Of A Christian Flares Up #mind #truth* 3K+ ↓↓   ↓

That old saying: "come as you are" to Jesus Christ is true in the sense that a person comes to Jesus as a sinner, in need of Salvation. However, after that, they must change, and be born again. Don't let anyone ever try to deceive you into thinking that Jesus let's someone stay the same sinful way they were before they met him (or even become worse as the new age generation want's you to believe).

Jesus says: "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. " (John 3:6-7 KJV).

So after someone is born again, they become spiritually liberated. Their life begins to change and change into God's ways, laws and lifestyles. This goes on and on year after year after year. But the brain flares up with it's old self, and a Christian must understand this.

Was someone a blasphemer? It's no surprise that blasphemous thoughts might suddenly come into their mind even after being saved.
Was someone profane? It's no surprise that profane thoughts and words might suddenly come into their mind even after being saved.
Was someone a lust filled / pornography user? It's no surprise that lust and sexual abomination thinking might suddenly come into their mind even after being saved.
Did someone live, behave and make sinful choices? It's no surprise that when they see or hear or think something about their old sinful ways, their brain pathways will light up, and they will have an emotional / temptation reaction to do it again. Even the feeling that it's "who they are" or "what they want" because it's in their brain. Wrong! A adopted child of God does not act on, accept or believe whatever comes into their brain.

The fact is, the soul get's saved. But the brain has had years and years of false training, and sinful thinking. This has created "pathways" of thinking and responding to things through the brain, which can then lead into emotions and physical responses. It's going to take a lot of work to fix these problems, and only Jesus Christ can help someone do it.

So to all the Christians out there, please understand that every thought that comes into your brain is not necessarily part of who you are as a person, who you are in Jesus Christ, or who God wants you to be and has designed you to be. Just because a abomination thought might come into your head, that does not mean that you are now an abominable person. Just because a blasphemy thought might come into your head, does not mean that you are now a blasphemous person.

Your brain has been deceived and falsely trained by the enemy, the world and even by yourself apart from God. It's how you respond to evil thinking that makes the difference. Don't go with it, resist it. Don't let the enemy deceive you into thinking that if it's in your head, that it's who you are or what you want. Does God say it's wrong? Then it's wrong and don't accept it! Please continue reading about bringing every thought captive in obedience to Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:5), as it can help you understand what's going on with your brain and thoughts.
