// TRUTH About: Saved By Grace, Not By Works: Ephesians 2:8-9* 4K+ ↓↓   ↓

Many End Times Ministries, Preachers and Christians teach the truth: that people need to do works to truly be saved. People need to do works to get themselves into Heaven. People need to do works to receive Jesus Christ, works to receive the Holy Ghost and works to prove their Christianity....
Other people (primarily Christians who are confused, new age preachers creating false converts / false christianity, and sinners who want to remain in sin) use the words of Paul in Ephesians 2 to claim that the "do works teaching" is not true, and that works are not required, because Paul said so.

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9 King James Version).

This statement of Paul is true, but his words are being misused, manipulated and twisted by new age people who want others to believe that: you are saved because of God's grace and THAT'S IT, you don't have to do anything else. This is one of the reasons why there are so many people who claim to be Christian, and yet they do not have a living relationship with God, they are not close to God, they are not baptized with the Holy Ghost upon their lives, and they are not living with signs and wonders like Jesus said that his Apostles would be living with. They are not separated from the world, they are friends with the world. Are they really Christians? Many of them have never moved a step forward beyond accepting that Jesus is Lord and claiming to believe in him. Many are living in sin, and yet they think that because of God's grace, they are saved. There are even many who think that they can be fornicators (sex without Biblical marriage), adulterers, whoremongers (users of pornography), and think that they are saved because of God's grace, regardless of how they live their life. This is the message they are learning from liars who are manipulating the scriptures...

For example: A Christian person is in a counseling session with a "preacher". They say to the preacher about someone they care about: "they need to start living right, so they can get saved." The preacher replies: "It's not by works, but by grace someone get's saved". Some are even being manipulated into thinking that this means, because of God's grace: God will save them. Some even take it farther into the lie that because of God's grace, he will accept everyone into Heaven, regardless of whether or not they were a Christian. No one will go to HELL? That is the same as teaching that God Almighty is a liar and a pushover. Be not deceived!

Paul's words are accurate: it is Jesus Christ, and his grace and love and mercy that did the work for people to get saved. Jesus takes the sins onto the cross and pays for them with his life and death. Jesus made the sin exchange with the sinner who accepted him, and died for their sins. JESUS CHRIST DID THE WORKS, AND OFFERED THIS AS GRACE. Jesus gives, and fulfills and created salvation.

However, Paul would be one of the first people to stand up and say that you don't just get saved and that's it! In fact Paul said: "...work out your own salvation with fear and trembling." (Philippians 2:12 KJV). Work it out. Meaning: work at it. Work at your salvation! Have concern about the results, because you are going to be in a constant spiritual war, and your salvation is at stake. You need to work at this war with fear and trembling, because as Jesus Christ said: "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." (Matthew 7:14 KJV). Listen to Jesus Christ! He is saying that few will find the way, FEW.

A Christian shall be tested. They shall be persecuted. They shall be tempted. They shall be tormented and mocked and harassed and victimized in various ways. They shall have lies and wickedness and false doctrines and false teachers try to lead them astray. Many friends and family and co workers and neighbors shall be used by the enemy to try and mess them up. False books, false doctrines, false translations, an onslaught of evil media and propaganda, fears and anxiety, seducing spirits and evil will have to be delt with.... And to overcome all of this is hard work, requiring God's help. It's a blend between the work of God and the work of the Christian together, to overcome all of this and become and remain a saved, born again Christian. Hard Work!

Biblical Christianity is full of works:
+ Accepting Jesus Christ (the beginning step of becoming a saved Christian) is a work.
+ Believing Jesus Christ and accepting his word in the Holy Bible is a work that is leading someone closer to becoming a saved Christian.
+ Once someone makes the sin exchange with Jesus Christ (when they believe, and ask Jesus Christ to take their lifetime of sins upon himself on the cross, and he does it) they need to prove then that they have become a saved Christian, and their lives are forever changed. They do this with work. Hard work.
+ Reading the Holy Bible is a Christian work.
+ Learning of God's ways is a Christian work.
+ Learning of God's laws is a Christian work.
+ Implementing these into life and living them daily is a Christian work.
+ Rooting sin out of life and living as a Christian is hard work that must be done.
+ Praying to God is a Christian work.
+ Praying for people is a Christian work.
+ Monitoring the very thoughts in order to take them captive into obedience in Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) is a Christian work.
+ Proving to God that you are worthy to receive his Holy Ghost anointing upon your life is work...

...The closer and closer someone gets to God, the more active he is in their life. The stronger the relationship. God starts using them for his Kingdom. Sings, wonders, miracles start happening. Jesus says about his Holy Ghost filled Christian Apostles in John 14:12: "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father." *The word "greater" used here does not mean "better". It means "in larger numbers"; meaning he preached to a specific amount, and now his Christians preach the same truth to a larger amount of people because there are more people on earth. He's talking about WORKS! THESE ARE ALL WORKS THAT PROVE SOMEONE'S CHRISTIANITY. WORK!

It is the people who misuse and manipulate Paul's Ephesians 2:8-9 words that are giving and creating a false doctrine message that once you accept that Jesus is Lord, you are saved by grace and you don't have to do anything else... You don't have to do any works. You don't need to work at it. Wrong. It is important to note that there are people who profess that Jesus is Lord and they are NOT SAVED. Jesus cast out evil spirits that proclaimed Jesus was Lord, and these evil spirits were not saved. The end times prophecy about Jesus' return says that every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord whether they like it or not, and most of these people are not saved. They are not saved by God's grace just because they have accepted the fact that Jesus is Lord. Jesus says: "And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?" (Luke 6:46 KJV). Jesus is asking, they claim that he is their Lord and yet they don't do the works that he commands: like working to change their entire lives to Biblical Christianity.

When Paul says: saved by grace, not by works, he is talking about God's work on the cross causes the salvation. But, after that a Christian must work and prove that they are a Christian. The rest of their life will be spent doing work for God.

"But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? " (James 2:20 KJV). "...shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works." (James 2:18 KJV).
