// RESPECTING THE VIRGIN FAMILY: Mary Had No Children Other Than JESUS / Brothers of Jesus?* 4K+ ↓↓   ↓

To begin, It needs to be made clear that One Christian Ministry is a Non-Denominational, Biblical (Textus Receptus / King James Version), Evangelical Christian Ministry.

Many are teaching that Jesus Christ had siblings: brothers and or sisters, children of Mary and Joseph. They are justifying this teaching by sadly manipulating accurate Bible scriptures, and using "new age" translations. This "Mary and Joseph had kids" teaching is not only false doctrine, but it's roots have to do with a deep problem; a lack of respect of Mother Mary, Joseph and their roles and influence in Christianity. They are known as the "Virgin Family" for a reason.
In fact, many "Christians" don't simply dis-respect Mary, but they have a form of hatred for her. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that Mary and Joseph overcame sexuality. Perhaps it has to do with jealousy that they were chosen by God above all other humans. Perhaps it has to do with what seems that many Catholic people take their respect for Mary way too far and some even seem to "worship" her, which is wrong. But there is one truth that most Catholics recognize and accept: Mary was, is and forever will be a VIRGIN. She had no other children, and Jesus Christ had no siblings in that use of the word. This can be proven with accurate KJV Bible scripture, and plain and simple logic and intelligence.

1. Bible Translation LOGICAL TRUTH:
Part of the problem here is the many "bible translations" available. Does "translation" matter when the very truth of God and his original church is being translated? Why do so many Christians claim the authorized KJV as their only Bible version? As the KJV says: "Translated out of the original tongues and with the former translations diligently compared and revised." The KJV is based upon what is called the "Traditional Text" and the "Textus Receptus" (the documents handed down from and through the original Christian churches, you can read more about it here). Other versions have been manipulated by man, contain errors, lies, false doctrines, censored content, and are usually based upon what is called the "Critical Text", which should not be accepted by Christians. If a person believes that they can use any "bible translation", then it is sadly possible that they may be lead into any form of damnable heresies written in many of the false books. Please get yourself a authorized King James Version (KJV) Bible before they are no longer available.

2. Matthew 1:25 LOGICAL TRUTH:
The scripture says about Mary, that Joseph "knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Jesus." (Matthew 1:25 KJV). This scripture could mean anything. It could mean that he didn't know much about her, or that they didn't have much of a personal relationship. Or it meant that once he had helped her with the labor and birthing of Jesus, he knew allot about her body and what it looked like.... Sadly, in our sinfully sexualized world, MAN has falsely translated the truth that he "knew her not" INTO lies that "he did not consummate their marriage" (NIV version), "did not have marital relations" (GW version), "did not have sexual relations with her" (NLT version).

Let's look at the statement "knew her not", and study this with logic and intelligence. Does this type of statement come up other places in the Holy Bible? Yes, for example in the Old Testament: "Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph." (Exodus 1:8 KJV). Now, are we going to say that he didn't know about Joseph? Are we going to say he didn't have a personal relationship with Joseph? Or do you think it meant that he didn't have sexual relations with Joseph?

3. Matthew 13:55-56 LOGICAL TRUTH:
"Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?" (Matthew 13:55-56 KJV).

So we have people taking this scripture and believing that Jesus Christ had brethren (brothers and sisters, the children of Mary and Joseph). However, people who are believing this are sadly being ignorant of the language and titles used in these old days thousands of years ago. The fact is, that "brethren", "brothers" and "sisters" could mean any number of things such as close friends, non-sibling relatives, members of the same community, members of the same temple, members of the same land, group, etc.

Let's look at this with logic and intelligence. Isn't the term "brethren" used to describe the Christian church? Aren't Christians referred to as "brothers and sisters in Christ"? The word "Brethren" is used around 50 times in the book of Acts. And Paul often called Christian congregations: "brethren". When Paul used this word, he was not talking about his father and mother's other children.

John the Apostle wrote: "I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ." (Revelation 1:9 KJV). John calls himself your brother? Think about it.

And the title "sister", was used for "woman" back in these old days. Solomon even called his wife his sister: "How fair is thy love, my sister, my spouse! how much better is thy love than wine! and the smell of thine ointments than all spices!" (Song of Solomon 4:10 KJV). Do you believe then that he was married to his parents daughter because he calls her "sister"?

Jesus says: "For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother." (Matthew 12:50 KJV). Here he is making a statement that indicates the titles "brother", "sister" and "mother" have many meanings.

Jesus makes another powerful statement, calling us all "brethren": "But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ." (Matthew 23:8-10 KJV).

Even today, The word "brother" is also defined as: "a male numbered among the same kinship group, nationality, race, profession, etc., as another, associate; a fellow member, fellow countryman, fellow man, etc.: a fraternity brother."

Under the circumstances proven above, to claim that when the scriptures refer to Jesus': "brethren", "brothers", "sisters" - means his siblings; children of Mary and Joseph.... is not historical, logical or intelligent.

4. John 19:26-27 LOGICAL TRUTH:
When Jesus Christ was being crucified on the cross, and about to die, he worried about his mother Mary. He worried about how tormented and messed up emotionally, mentally and physically she was because of what had happened to him. He was worried about who was going to take care of her, because Joseph had obviously passed on. Jesus knew how hard it would be for her to lose her son. Because of all of this, he then commanded his beloved apostle John to take care of her. He commanded John to become as a replacement son to Mary, and to take care of her. He put Mary under his protection.

"When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home." (John 19:26-27 KJV).

Now most modern "preachers" rudely minimize and discredit this intense situation, by quoting John 7:5 which says that Jesus' "brethren didn't believe in him". But the examples used above have just proven that the word "brethren" can mean any number of things. After all, Matthew 23 was just quoted as Jesus telling us that "all ye are brethren".

Under the circumstances proven above, to claim that Mary and Joseph had various children, and because they did not believe in Jesus Christ, they therefore abandoned and disowned their relationship with their mother to the point where Jesus had to find someone who would take care of her..... is not historical, logical or intelligent.

5. Mother Mary LOGICAL TRUTH:
"And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women." (Luke 1:28 KJV).
Mary was chosen above all humans. She was given by God, a three part role in life. A three part role that for some strange reason, makes most "Christians" angry or upset.
1. She was a adopted child of God (as are all who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior).
2. She conceived of the Holy Ghost, and became pregnant with God's only begotten Son Jesus Christ. This is the only time God ever did this, it's like saying that she was God's wife. After all, she was a virgin, and the only woman God impregnated with his begotten Son, and he only had one begotten child.
3. She was the mother of Jesus, she was the mother of God. (No she did not create God, she was not there before God, but she did conceived of God and gave birth to Jesus, and raised him as his mother).
This triune role that Mary was chosen to live, places her above all other humans, and it is therefore understandable why so many claim that she is the Queen of Heaven.

*In fact, chosen as the actual spouse or wife of God the Father, being the only woman that conceived of God's only begotten child, it is logical and intelligent to think that if she started having sex with Joseph after she gave birth to Jesus Christ, it would be like committing adultery against God. However, keep in mind that God did not have sex with Mary. Neither God the Father, Son or Holy Ghost was ever involved in human, flesh sexuality.

It is not right to worship Mary, or to use her as a "screen" between Christians and Jesus Christ. However, she deserves the utmost respect.

What it really comes down to... Either people haven't learned the truth yet, or they are ignorant and not thinking things through logically, or they are using a false new age translation that has manipulated the scriptures, or they have some form of disrespect for the Virgin Family, and do not want to accept the fact that Mary was a virgin, who remained a virgin. Joseph was chosen as a protector of Mary and Jesus, and as a husband by appearance so that Mary did not appear sinful to the community. He also remained a virgin. Jesus Christ, whose mission the 33 some years he was on Earth did not have any reason to partake in sexuality. He did not marry, he committed no fornication sin. He remained a virgin. These three are the Holy Virgin Family, and it's time to start respecting them and their achievements of overcoming all sexuality.
