// (?)BELIEVE and be #SAVED VS--> LIVING as a #CHRISTIAN #bible #christianity #TRUTH* ↓↓   ↓

We've got the most mixed up, new-age (blending of religions or religious components) time period in the history of the world. And we've got these "preachers" who are quick to make people think that they are saved simply because they decided to "believe in Jesus".

YES, Paul did write saying (believe and you will be saved), and he was not wrong. However to take a simpleton stand on his message is a mistake that is costing some their very souls.

Paul was living in a time where Christianity was brand new. Paul was not living in a time where there were countless variations to deceive people off of true Christianity. He was not living in a time where abominations worse than what got sodom and gomorra destroyed are instantly viewable in the privacy of the home.

Jesus Christ himself (whose authority is far greater than Paul or anyone else) proclaims that being a Christian is serious business --> "why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?" (Luke 6:46 KJV) and even more boldly in Matthew 7, a devastating warning to some who claimed to have known the Lord: "And then will I [JESUS] profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." (Matthew 7:23 KJV).

"Iniquity" = damnable sins that separate a person from God. Yes, some people will claim to be "Christian" who "believe in Jesus" and yet they never truly #RECEIVED #SALVATION.

Even Paul proclaims the seriousness of living life as a Christian / following Gods laws and being obedient --> "...work out your own salvation with fear and trembling." (Philippians 2:12 KJV).
