Did GOD Call Jesus His Son?

When Jesus went to John the Baptist to be baptized with water, God and the Holy Ghost both manifested in tangible form.

"And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him [Jesus], and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." (Luke 3:22).

God (the Father) spoke, calling Jesus his beloved son. Most people do not even think about the fact that there were many witnesses who heard the voice, and saw the dove. There may have been hundreds, as many sought after John the Baptist. It must have been awesome!

In John 12, Jesus was upset about the time that was at hand, and about a group of Greek men who wanted to talk to him. He called out to his Father in Heaven, and again, God manifested in tangible form, in front of many witnesses.

"Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour. Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him. Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes. Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men." (John 12:27-32).

After Jesus was put to death, he resurrected himself (with his own power) back to life. The only one to ever bring himself back to life with their own power! He then came and visited his disciples, and many other witnesses saw him.

"The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the LORD. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." (John 20:25-29).

Jesus the Christ is the only one who could SAVE anyone from having to pay the punishment(s) for their own sins. Thus, as he has said: "I AM the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father [GOD], but by me." (John 14:6). "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). "Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:10-12).

Thank you Jesus for all the souls you have saved throughout the generations! Please continue to open the hearts and eyes of men and women to your Holy truth, and save a few last souls in these end times. Amen.
