Chemical Warfare: Household Products Causing Destruction

"Since 1976 when TSCA (Toxic Substance Control Act) was passed, more than 80,000 different chemicals have been produced and used in the United States. In these 33 years, the EPA has required testing on just 200 of these 80,000 chemicals. Only 5 chemicals have been restricted." - saferchemicals.org

Beyond what most would think of as "chemicals", are substances titled simply as "fragrance(s)". The mass majority of the American population does not know that the fragrance industry is basically self regulated. On top of that, their formulas are considered "trade secrets", in which they are not required to disclose what they use. What do they use? Toxic, poisonous chemicals that are literally destroying peoples health. Do a little research on chemicals in fragrances. These fragrances are then put into perfume, cologne, laundry soap, dryer sheets, soap, lotion, cosmetics, cleaning products, etc...

"Fragrance secrecy is legal due to a giant loophole in the Federal Fair Packaging and Labeling Act of 1973, which requires companies to list cosmetics ingredients on the product labels but explicitly exempts fragrance. By taking advantage of this loophole, the cosmetics industry has kept the public in the dark about the ingredients in fragrance, even those that present potential health risks or build up in people’s bodies. Ingredients not in a product’s hidden fragrance mixture must be listed on the label. As a result, manufacturers disclose some chemical constituents on ingredient lists but lump others together in the generic category of “fragrance.”" - Environmental Working Group (article titled "Not So Sexy", which is a contradiction statement to the fragrance industry advertising campaign.)

Mad Scientists are having a hay day with these trade secret fragrances. They are extracting sex glands, sex hormones from animals, and making chemical / synthetic versions, inserting them into their poison. Then, people use the chemicals on their clothes, their homes, their own bodies. They absorb it into their blood, it goes into their brains, and their brains are being affected.

Many people wear clothes washed in fragranced laundry soap, and dried with dryer sheets added. The result? Their clothes, their homes and their own bodies become completely and totally saturated in poison. When they go out in public, you know what hall they have walked down, you know what room they have been in, you know where they have been standing and you know where they have been sitting. In fact, they can actually sit down somewhere for awhile, and when they get up, their toxic fragrance has attached itself to the seat. Later, another person comes and sits down in the same place, and the smell comes off the seat, and attaches itself onto their pants. This is a fact. I know this, because a spicy perfume laundry smell got affixed to the seat of my jeans (at a meeting where I sat on a couch) and after two washings and weeks of being un-able to use them - the smell was still there! If you can't get it out of the clothes, how do these people expect their bodies and livers to detox it out of their system? Do you use dryer sheets? Do you use fragranced laundry soap?

This is not meant to be offensive, just factual about the effects of these chemicals: After visiting the home of someone who uses fragranced laundry products (and have breathed in the chemicals for a period of time), I have actually "gassed" out their fragrance later, and filled the air with it as if I was using the same products! 

When people run their dryers, these chemicals flow in a hot air form out their vents, and literally effect the whole neighborhood. Ever seen someone out for a walk, then they have to cover their face and run past an area? Ever seen someone sitting on their deck enjoying a nice summer with fresh air, when suddenly they have to pack up and run into their house and shut the windows? GOD must hate this! These hot air chemical fests are so strong, that no one knows how far the trail actually goes until it breaks down. Possibly miles.

Perfumes, colognes, bar soaps, shampoos, lotions, hand sanitizers, cleaning products, cosmetics, etc... they are destroying individuals, and destroying families. Doctors will tell people what is physically happening to them, but they usually don't tell them why. Doctors don't usually say: you and your family are sick because of your perfume and laundry products, which contains toxic poisons. 

Men and women get their fragrances on their hands, then they get it everywhere. I personally have touched an item, opened a door, touched my products after a cashier checked them out, and suddenly it's like a war to try and get their fragrance off of my hands! Washing, scrubbing. I have resorted to digging dirt out of my yard and scrubbing with mud to get it off of my hands because my soaps weren't strong enough!

The results? Hospitals cannot build add-ons quick enough, so mini hospitals are popping up all over the place. Even a few decades ago this was not the case. There is a new affliction arising, it's called MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivities). People who have this issue cannot tolerate the chemicals mentioned above. And if you are using these types of chemicals, you are contributing to their problems. There are many varying levels of MCS, and people CAN make their situation better by changing their lives, their environments, their homes, their choices. But that doesn't change other people that they have to be around in public, stores, at work, even in church. Some people cannot go to church because of the fragrances women and men load up with and wash their clothes in.

Many people could potentially wipe out their health issues simply by wiping out their chemicals. Not only would they help themselves, but they would help the people around them. Please consider doing this, as there are many countless natural and fragrance free alternatives to everything you need. Visit your local health food store, search online.
